Who?

Founded in 2008 (just before the 5-day war with Russia), A-Z is Georgia's leading provider of translation, proof-reading & editing, writing, consultancy and multilingual project management services.

Based in Tbilisi and London, A-Z is an international network of experienced translators, editors and writers built around a core team of native speakers of English, Georgian, French, German and Russian. (We can, however, also work in other languages e.g. Turkish, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, &c.)

A-Z can translate, proof-read, edit, write, review, format, transcribe, subtitle, summarize and advise on pretty much any kind of text and can manage complex multilingual projects such as French subtitles for Georgian films, bilingual Russian and Italian product labels or English summaries of German-language conference transcriptions.

For whom?

Since it was founded, A-Z has already worked for the widest possible range of individuals, companies and organizations both in Georgia and abroad, e.g. government ministries, local and international NGOs, international organizations such as UNICEF or the Council of Europe, wine-makers, film studios and producers, publishers and printers, legal chambers and private practices, hotels and restaurants, banks and asset management companies, national and international media, universities and academics, &c. (Please note that as a matter of policy we generally refuse to consider legal or medical texts.)

How?

In a world of often unreliable computer-assisted translations and translation databases, A-Z prefers to base its work upon the firm belief that it is impossible to match the combination of a good brain, a good set of dictionaries and a word processor. Recognizing the fact that every project is unique, we consider requests based upon the precise, individual requirements of our customers.

A-Z essentially never sleeps, and although we obviously prefer to be given enough time to do a job properly, we pride ourselves on our unparalleled ability to meet our customers' tight (or sometimes even downright unreasonable) deadlines.
